Mia came to us in the fall of 2006, on a plane from Poland to Chicago and onto Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. I’ll never forget the little fluffy black and white fur ball that pounced on me and ran in circles at midnight. She was pretty lively after having traveled for so long. It was love at first sight, although, I had seen her in many pictures and videos from Ula in Poland each week. She had made herself a part of the family instantly. She has become very loyal to me and our family. Always curious about everything, she is right there, wherever you are, waiting to play with her with a ball in her mouth. Mia is notorious for having more toys all over the house than our two girls, Alex and Ava. She is slowly learning to put them away herself. Still working on that…

She is silly, smart and very stubborn, but what PON isn’t? She has the most beautiful black and white coat. I am often stopped by people when they see her out and about with me and the kids. Yes, she is a diva and she knows it. Attention? Yes, she gets it and loves it! She is very good with children and very wary of strangers. She likes to protect her turf and her flock. (My kids tell me that they are not sheep) A great addition to our family, she is considered our hairy third child.
